A MAGICAL time was had by all as a town hotel was transformed into an enchanted forest for a charity ball.
Trees, vines and green-coloured decorations helped to convert St Andrew's Hotel, St Andrew's Drive, Droitwich, into a forest for the New Hope charity ball.
It is the third annual ball organised in aid of New Hope, based in Wells Road, Ronkswood which supports children from across the county who have disabilities and complex health needs.
Guests raised more than £1,800 on the night which will go towards providing the youngsters with activities during October half term and Christmas.
Blobbie Williams was on hand to entertain guests while Flash the Harris hawk paid a flying visit for people to be pictured with him.
The evening also included a lovely surprise with the presentation of a cheque for £840 by Worcester business City Signs who chose New Hope as its chosen charity for 2015.
Jean Wilson, founder of New Hope, said she was extremely grateful for everyone's support.
"Our charity ball was very successful.
"Guests had a wonderful evening being transported into an enchanted forest, entertained by Blobbie Williams and enjoying a visit from Flash the Harris Hawk."
