STUDENTS at The De Montfort School in Evesham welcomed Nigel Huddleston MP to their school.
Pupils enjoyed showing Mr Huddleston the new climbing wall they use at break and lunch times.
Mr Huddleston spent time at both the high and middle schools and really engaged with the students and staff.
Mr Huddleston said: "I was very impressed with what I saw at De Montfort.
"It was particularly pleasing to see the good behaviour of pupils in class and I was impressed by the level of interaction between the children and with the teachers.
"The children were so energetic and motivated – it was a pleasure to see."
Guy Nichols, headteacher, said: "We welcome all visitors to see our school in action and take advantage of our open door policy, so please come along and see us.
"It is always a pleasure to welcome Nigel Huddleston to The De Montfort School and our students really enjoy showing all our visitors their achievements and how proud they are of their school."
