A THIEF is thought to have fallen asleep in a car parked outside a home in Droitwich before stealing £30 and an iPhone recharger.

The car was parked in Falcon Close, Droitwich overnight on Thursday but is thought to have been left unlocked.

The owner believes the person may have slept in the car leaving behind a strong smell of cigarettes as well as cigarette ash dropped on the floor of both the driver and passenger footwells.

They stole about £30 in cash and an iPhone charging cable, which is distinctive due to its unusual length and brand.

They also removed a collapsible trolley from the boot but abandoned it behind the car.
