AN early-morning thief made a swift getaway after stealing a loaf of bread from a village store.
At just before 6am on April 18, the owner of Offenham Village Stores was woken by a noise outside and saw someone running from the shop.
The thief leapt into a Subaru car which was waiting in the middle of the road with its engine running.
The owner discovered a loaf of bread had been stolen from the bunker where the bread is stored.
Anyone who may have any information is asked to ring 101 with incident number 127s of April 18.
