STUDENTS from Pershore High School were able to meet a man honoured for his part in World War Two.
William Brotherton was awarded the Legion D'Honneur by the French government for his contribution on D day and to the liberation of France.
He was at the school with his wife and daughter Sue Bryant, who was previously a teaching assistant at the school.
He was given a tour and met staff and students during the visit.
