A COW has been rescued from the River Avon in Bredon this evening.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service have been tweeting about the rescue which happened at around 5.30pm.
Firefighters from Pershore, Evesham and Upton joined forces with a boat crew and a specialist animal rescue team to make the rescue.
Environment Agency manager for Herefordshire and Worcestershire, Dave Throup, also tweeted a picture from the scene, which showed the emergency services using ropes to pull the cow onto the riverside.
