A POPULAR Vale running club is set to celebrate its ten-year anniversary with a party at the Northwick Hotel in Evesham.
A decade since Evesham Vale Running Club was founded by Colin Tether, the group is still going strong and boasts an 120-strong membership.
To mark the milestone, the 20 runners who took part in the club's first jog are being invited to join a celebratory event on Monday night.
Alix Cornish, club chairman, said: "We would like a group photo at 7pm, before it gets too dark, then we will go for a short run on the same route as that very first run.
"Then it will be time for a drink and cake. I do hope all those founder members can join us."
The group holds runs four nights a week, organises the annual Evesham Vale 10K race and helps out with the town's weekly parkrun.
