A 33-year-old man lost a large amount of money in an armed robbery.

The man was threatened with a bladed weapon after three men approached him in an alley at the bottom of Newtown Road, Worcester.

He refused to give one of the suspects a cigarette when they approached him, at around 11.30am to 12.30pm on Friday, September 16.

The thieves then demanded money and made off with the man’s wallet, which contained a large amount of money, and his iPod Nano.

They escaped in the direction of Ronkswood Crescent and Calder Road.

One of the suspects has been described as an Asian man in his mid-20s, around six-feet tall with a slight large build.

The second suspect has been described as an Asian man in his early-20s, around 5ft 10inches tall, of slim build and clean shaven.

The third suspect has been described as an Asian man in his early 20s. Call 101 and quote the incident number 364s of September 16.
