AN actor best known for appearing in Eastenders stopped by at a charity tea party to present a long service award to an Evesham volunteer.
Writer and broadcaster Tom Watt, who appeared as the character Lofty in the popular soap, joined volunteers and staff from Mentor Link, who work in the town, to present an award to Claire Quinn, whose work includes recruiting volunteer mentors.
CEO Andrea Maddocks said: "A big thank you to Tom for taking time out of his busy schedule to present the awards to staff and volunteers, we really appreciate his support.
"Also a big thank you to our volunteer mentors and staff for their dedication and commitment to the service provided to the children and young people.”
