A COLOURFUL quilt, handmade by members of a craft group, has been donated to help raise vital funds for a hospice.
The Littleton Thursday Craft Club made the double-sized quilt and donated it St Richard's Hospice, in the hope its sale will raise funds for the charity.
Shoshanna Goldstein, who co-ordinated the project, said: "The group wanted to work together to create a quilt that would benefit a fantastic local charity.
"As a St Richard's volunteer at the Evesham shop I speak to many families that have benefitted from the compassionate care provided by the hospice.
"We are delighted that the quilt will raise funds to ensure that others will be able to experience the hospice’s excellent care."
Members of the group who worked on the quilt include: Ann Evans, Anne Malpas, Anne Partridge, Chris Vince, Judy Garvey, Lesley Smith, Liz Kerr, Margaret Homer, Margaret Potter, Rosie McCotter, Shoshanna Goldstein, Sylvia Butcher and Val Davies.
