THREE so far overlooked dogs are hoping to find themselves a home on a traditionally unlucky day.

With this Friday falling on the 13th day of the month, a superstitiously unlucky day, three Dogs Trust Evesham dogs are hoping to buck the trend and find themselves a home.

The Wickhamford-based rehoming centre is appealing to local people to give a home to Greyhound Flynn, and Lurchers Radcliff and Bart.

Chris Slight, rehoming centre manager at Dogs Trust Evesham said: “It’s such a shame that these three have been overlooked so far, but we’re confident we’ll find homes for them soon.

"Despite the superstition that Friday 13th brings bad luck, we’re really hoping potential new owners will put any superstitions to one side and consider rehoming one of these super dogs.

“Not only will you be offering a four-legged friend a happy home, but you will be gaining a new best friend. We don’t see what’s so unlucky about that."
