PUPILS from an Evesham school enjoyed a trip to Evesham's new fire station.
Honeybourne Primary Academy was the first school to visit the fire station just two days after it opened in December.
The children had a great time using the hoses, climbing inside the fire engine and seeing a real fire in the practice house.
They were also able to ask questions, saw all the equipment carried on the fire engine and worn by firefighters. The highlight of the visit was burning their replica houses to show how fast the fire spread in 1666 during the Great Fire of London.
