POLICE have released images of two men they want to talk to about a street robbery in Bromyard.

The attack happened close to the Queens Arms in the town's High Street between 10.40pm and 11pm on Tuesday, January 31.

A man in his 30s was outside smoking when two men approached him and began a conversation.

An argument broke out and the two men then assaulted the victim, who fell to the ground. While he was on the floor, a gold ring was taken off his finger by one of the attackers.

The victim was treated for bruises to his face and knee.

The first man is described as being in his mid to late 20s, tall, large build, with light brown hair and facial hair.

The second man is believed to be in his late 20s or early 30s, muscular build, with short dark hair, a tattoo on his neck, and a scar on the left side of his head below his hairline.

Officers are keen for anyone who saw the assault, who witnessed anyone acting suspiciously or who was in the area at the time to come forward.

They would also like to speak to the two men in the CCTV images, as they believe they may have information which could help the investigation.
