A HOST of colourful blooms went on display at an annual flower show.
The Droitwich Spa and District Horticultural Society held its Spring Flower Show at Chawson Barns on Saturday, March 18 – and an array of 200 inventive arrangements were exhibited.
Val Jancey, honorary secretary of the society, said all entries were of an "excellent quality".
"Thanks should go to all exhibitors, the public who turned out to view the exhibits and all helpers on the day," she said.
Cups were awarded to Joy Davis for her floral art exhibit and to Linda Hickman for a an arrangement of cut spring flowers.
The Daffodil Society bronze medal was awarded to Fred Hunt for the best daffodil bloom in the show.
There was also a tombola and refreshments available on the day.
