SUE Miller and Jane Way dealt with the business and Annie Hartwright gave a report of Fladbury Daffodil Evening. Two members were congratulated for Golden Wedding Anniversaries (February and March), there are I believe a total of six of these for our members this year,1967 was known as the summer of love I am told.

Entertainment followed and as we all know everyone needs a HUG now and again. We were lucky to have a group of them, Harvington Ukulele Group to be precise who entertained us with music covering many genres and eras. The group have been playing together for over five years and meet up at The Coach and Horses in Harvington every Tuesday if you want to learn to play the uke. The music for us brought back memories of the 50's and 60's, who remembers Teenager in Love, Hello Mary Lou (I had a Ricky Nelson poster on my bedroom wall!), Sunny Afternoon? From further back Swinging on a Star, and Mack the Knife. A medley to end, but of course we insisted on an encore. HUG will always cheer you up.

Upcoming dates for May: 15th Landscape Painting;18th Swing Knitting Workshop; 25th Lucy Hingley Lecture, Macular Degeneration and
