THREE people have been arrested on suspicion of growing cannabis after raids on two houses at Pinvin, near Pershore, this week.

Police made the raids on Tuesday, seizing cannabis worth £15,000 and growing equipment.

A man aged 42, a woman aged 35 and a man aged 33m, all from Pershore were arrested and have since been released while the investigation continues.

The raid was one of several carried out by West Mercia Police as part of investigations into drug and burglary offences.

Three houses in Warndon, Worcester, and one in Malvern were raided on Wednesday morning. The Warndon raid resulted in six arrests, four for burglary, one for possession of Class A drugs and one for breach of a court order.
