AROUND 300 people attended a charity concert.
The 'Towards the Within' concert at Pershore Abbey was raising money for the Mayor of Evesham councillor Fred Kaler's chosen charities of St Richard's Hospice and Kids Run Free.
The concert was organised and performed by Aphelion made up of local musicians Chris Long and Paula Evans, along with their vocal septet 'Excelsa Voces' and cellist Tom McMahon.
The programme juxtaposed medieval chant, polyphony from the 16th century and 20th century classical music alongside minimalist piece by the likes of Nils Frahm and Meredith Monk.
The event was lit by PF Productions.
