A BOY received swift medical treatment after being involved in a crash near Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
The crash took place at the Charles Hastings Way roundabout on Wednesday afternoon at 3.20pm and involved the boy, a 13-year-old who was on a bike, and a gold Mercedes car.
An eyewitness, who didn't want to be named, said an ambulance was at the scene within minutes due to how close the crash was to the hospital.
"The ambulance was there straight away," the eyewitness said.
"The boy looked to be conscious and moving at the time but in great shock."
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "One ambulance came across and treated the 13-year-old boy for leg pain.
"He was concious and was taken to hospital."
