A DESCRIPTION of the suspect in a Worcester sexual assault has been released.

A woman in her 40s was sexually assaulted by a man on a bike in Bath Road, Worcester, in the early hours of the morning.

The suspect is described as being a white man in his early 20s, approximately 5ft 10ins tall and of medium build.

He had short fair hair and was clean shaven, wearing a hooded tracksuit top and riding a mountain bike.

The incident happened between 1am and 1:45am on Sunday, July 2.

The woman had been walking home from town, when she was approached from behind by a man on a bike.

As the man got closer, he grabbed her inappropriately and attempted to pull her towards him.

The man rode off towards The Anchor Inn, in Diglis Road, where he was later seen outside.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may know who this man is.
