A RENEWED appeal to find a missing dog that was scared by fireworks is being made by its owners.

Last month the Worcester News reported on the loss of the much loved family member, five-year-old Border Collie Cody who scrambled over a 5ft wall and down a 20ft bank at Heron Lodge, Worcester near Silverdale Avenue, after a loud bang.

Sadly the dog hasn't been heard of since, devastating owner Sarah Cronin of Silverdale Avenue and daughter, 12-year-old Ciara Cronin-Brown.

Sightings of a dog similar to Cody were originally reported in Kington and at Lyonshall, both in Herefordshire, west of Leominster, but both came to nothing.

"It is frustrating as there has been no definite sightings in Worcester, despite everything we have done to appeal for information," she said.

"We have no idea where he is.

"There was a sighting of a very similar dog in Camden, London - I even went down myself to look, but there has been nothing since.

"He was not great with humans, he would cower and hide, which is what he could be doing.

"It is like he has vanished."

He is chipped and has a collar with a tag that has his contact details on it.

Anyone with any information can contact his owners on 07885989365 or 07738 586920.
