A CANCER survivor and her work colleagues took on a fun charity challenge.

In 2013, Wendy Creaney was diagnosed with breast cancer and her work colleagues at Timothy Lea and Griffiths in Evesham organised to appear at the Worcester Mud Run.

She said: "Back in 2013 I was diagnosed with breast cancer, quite a shocking and devastating thought to bear.

"All worries and concerns flood your mind and the anxiety of how it will affect the various aspects of your life, work and career being one of them.

"I was extremely well supported by all my colleagues and the directors at Timothy Lea and Griffiths, they gave me much encouragement to stay positive and for all that they did for me I shall be forever grateful.

"Which is why when two colleagues suggested that we put a team together to take part in the 5k mud run at Worcester I, as well as other colleagues embraced the challenge.

"Our sponsor pages were set up and we managed to raise over £1,000 for Cancer Research UK.

"We set off as a team and finished as a team - the photo shows us on the final obstacle together.

"It was a brilliant occasion with a super atmosphere and it made me feel proud to be amongst a team of not just work colleagues, but my friends."
