YOUNGSTERS showed their love for Roald Dahl's ever-popular books by dressing up as their favourite characters.
The celebrations were part of Roald Dahl Day, a day chosen to celebrate the famous author as it was his birthday.
Among those who dressed up was Max Llewellyn, five, who became a Fantastic Mr Fox for the day.
Lydia Foxall, aged two, went to nursery dressed as Matilda, the super-bright schoolgirl who turns out to have magical powers.
While Oscar Russell dusted off his golden ticket and dressed as Charlie Bucket from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to enjoy lessons in year 1 at St Joseph's Catholic School.
Worcester Learning Zone also celebrated the day on Wednesday, September 13.
