A PERSHORE family are now sitting comfortably thanks to the help of a local charity.

Roundabout in Blackminster, which reuses donated furniture items in order to help those in need, donated a sofa, an armchair and other furniture to Lucy Reynolds of Railground, Pershore.

Roundabout who have been operating across South Worcestershire, the North Cotswolds and West Warwickshire for the past 22 years rely entirely on the generosity of the public in these areas to donate surplus furniture items.

Ms Reynolds said: "I moved to my current address in early August with my baby Isaac. I relocated from Surrey in order to be near my family.

"I am really grateful for the assistance provided by Roundabout as I am of limited means and Roundabout has assisted me by providing all manner of furniture items.

"The Roundabout staff are really friendly and helpful and I like the way they go out of their way to help vulnerable people."

Roundabout assists individuals and families in need through a referral process providing them with free furniture items except for a small administration charge.

Referral requests come from variety of organisations including social services, health visitors, housing associations, CAB, Evesham based John Martin’s Charity and more.
