KIND-HEARTED staff from Karndean Designflooring have raised over £1,000 by taking part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Based at its Crab Apple Way showroom, the coffee morning called on staff and family members to put their show stopping cakes and pastries on display in a bid to help raise funds for people affected by cancer.
Numerous members of staff produced a variety of pastries and cakes, and visitors also enjoyed a raffle and tombola with lots of prizes on offer.
Over 100 staff, family and members of the public visited the showroom to show their support.
“We’re very grateful for all the generosity shown by staff and all visitors who donated time and money to Macmillan,” commented Gavin Smith, marketing director of Karndean Designflooring.
“This was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to come together to raise money for The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning – it’s such a great idea because anyone can take part and help make a positive difference to lives affected by cancer.”
