A CLOTHING collection day is being held to help refugees who have been displaced from their homes.
Evesham Vale Welcome Refugees (EVWR), a community group welcoming and supporting Syrian refugees, is holding the Keeping People Snug event at the Methodist Church in Bridge Street on Saturday, October 14 between 11am and 2pm.
The group is looking to donate clothing, including socks, neck-warmer (scarves), underwear, gloves (SNUG).
All donations will be handed to People In Motion, a charitable incorporated organisation, that provide support and aid to displaced people.
The organisation go on regular visits to the Help Refugees organisation in Calais.
