A BROMSGROVE telecommunications firm has doubled the size of its office space again to cope with increased demand, following another successful year.

District MP Sajid Javid was among the guests of honour on Friday (September 29), when Armstrong Bell held a Champagne reception at Grafton Manor Hotel to celebrate its expansion.

Based in Greenbox Office Park in Stoke Prior, Armstrong Bell made the investment after recording a 15 per cent growth in revenue last year - just two years after its last office extension.

Will Copley, managing director of Armstrong Bell, said: "Increasing office space had been a project for January next year, but a growth in business suddenly made it a more urgent issue for us.

"Looking around, nothing was suitable but when we had the opportunity to take on the second floor of our building, we knew it would be ideal.

"Business is accelerating and we’re in a very strong position to meet our ambitions of quadrupling the business in six years."

In the last 24 months, the firm has added three field sales executives and further developed its salesforce.

The new office space, which takes Armstrong Bell's headquarters up to 2,400 square feet, will provide the company with a new meeting room upstairs, enhanced management provision, sales desks and breakout facilities for staff.

It will also enable the firm to expand its engineering and sales facilities on the lower floor.

Speaking after the Champagne reception, Mr Javid said: "I'm so pleased to help mark the success of local telecoms star Armstrong Bell. It's a remarkable success story - right here in Bromsgrove. I wish William and his team all the very best.”
