SCHOOL netballers competed in a charity tournament in memory of a talented young player from Sheffield High School, who tragically died from an undiagnosed heart condition.

Bromsgrove School's 1st netball team took part in the round robin matches on Saturday, September 30, against teams from Sheffield, Woodhouse Grove, Greenhead College, Wickersley College and Nottingham Girls' High.

Each team paid to compete, spectators donated, and cakes and drinks were sold to raise funds for the charity CRY, after Sheffield student Alexandra Reid passed away in 2012, aged just 16.
