WORCESTERSHIRE County Council has arranged to clean up a white stain on a recently resurfaced path.
A local resident thinks the stain was the result of unused cement being poured across the surface.
Cllr Richard Udall said it was a shame but insisted that locals were delighted with the improvements to Meco Alley, off Bromyard Road, Worcester.
He said: "It does not impact on the surface. It just makes it look untidy. St John's residents deserve better, so I will try my best to get it cleaned up.
"It's the main footpath from Dines Green to St John's. It's been in terrible condition for years.
"I've had people in wheelchairs and mobility scooters unable to use it as it's so uneven and beaten up."
The path was resurfaced last week.
