MEMBERS of Evesham Ladies Circle organised and ran a pick the lucky jar stall at the town Christmas fair where they raised £75 for the Caring Hands charity.
That figure was then topped up by an additional £150 taken from the ladies circle general charity fund to make a total of £210.
This money was used to purchase Christmas hampers for local people and families.
A spokesman for the group said: "Its good to be able to work together and achieve something for others.
"Its nice at a crazy time like Christmas to take a step out of the madness and focus on raising money for a cause that will be so grateful for whatever we can give and raise.”
