POLICE are appealing for information after a dog was stolen from Ullington.

The dog, named Lilly, is a Cocker Spaniel with a golden coat, about two and half years old, notable features include a white bib and bottom.

Thieves, who scaled an 8ft kennel, gained entry to the rear of a property and have stolen the dog.

The theft took place in Honeybourne Road between 11.30am and 2.30pm on Saturday, November 25.

The owners are offering a £1,000 reward to anyone who can assist in her safe return.

A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "We understand that there has been some time between the theft and the appeal however any information in relation to this incident will be appreciated.

"If you have any information in relation to this incident, was offered a Cocker Spaniel matching this description or noticed one being sold, matching the description after the burglary took place please contact West Mercia Police."
