THE Big Feastival is set to return for its seventh year featuring famous names such as Professor Green and Paloma Faith.

Alex James's festival will also feature Basement Jaxx, Craig David, Clean Bandit and many more, with celebrity chefs such as Marco Pierre White and Raymond Blanc also cooking up a feast on site too.

The festival, famed for being family friendly, is hosted by Jo Whiley and features children's TV mega stars Justin Fletcher, Peppa the Pig and The Gruffalo this year.

The weekend will also feature X Factor 2012 winner James Arthur performing hits from his no.1 album Back from the Edge and also are on the bill are DJs including David Rodigan MBE providing a selection of reggae dancehall music, bone fide superstar Jaguar Skills offering his unique mixes, and garage duo Artful Dodger offering a timely reminder of their role as chiefs of the underground.

Feastival veterans The Cuban Brothers will be adding their distinctive blend of music, comedy and dancing entertainment with their special 20th anniversary live show, La Familia.

The festival will also welcome an army of debutants ranging from former Spice Girl Melanie C to emerging talent Becky Hill.

The main stage will also welcome hip-hop group Sugarhill Gang, rock band Peter Hook and The Light, the rousing Hackney Colliery Band plus Britpop Brass and Duke

We’ve got the biggest names across music and food coming to deliver an incredible experience for the whole family. We had the largest Big Feastival crowd ever last year and I’ve no doubts we’ll break records again this summer.”The Big Feastival has plenty of tricks up its sleeves to ensure the kids are entertained from start to finish.

The little feastival-goers can enjoy live entertainment from children’s TV sensation Justin Fletcher and CBeebies presenter Andy Day, with chances to meet Paddington™, The Gruffalo and Peppa Pig and George over the three day extravaganza.

When they need to burn off a little energy, they can tackle the little dudes’ den, try out tree climbing, join the circus, take part in the village green games or take a spin around the vintage fun fair.
