OIL painting, pottery, mosaic tile making and more will once again be on offer at a Pinvin pub as a fun social arts and crafts group returns to the village.

Because of their popularity with residents, and thanks to funding from Wychavon District Council and Pinvin Parish Council, the arts and craft classes in the Coach and Horses pub will be on offer throughout May, June and July.

The next class for adults, which will be oil painting, will be on Tuesday May 22 from 10.30am until noon and costs £4 per person.

The art classes will then run every other Tuesday with pottery, making things for the garden, the art of mosaics and origami the other themes.

Jenny Davis, arts development officer at Wychavon District Council, said: “It’s brilliant that these classes are continuing into July.

"Everyone who has come along to our group has had a fantastic time and the classes are very popular. There is very little for adults to do in the village so I’m glad that we can help reduce loneliness and isolation through the classes. The group is very friendly and there is always a warm welcome.”

To book a place on the class, contact Jenny Davis on 01386 565396 or email jenny.davis@wychavon.gov.uk.

Funding for these classes will continue until March 2019, and more dates details will be announced shortly.
