EVESHAM's largest independent electrical retailer, Abbey Appliances, have been presented with an award at a ceremony in London.
The IER Awards are hosted by national organisation Innovative Electrical Retailing and are attended by electrical manufacturers, distributors and retailers from across the country.
Evesham-based Abbey Appliances took home a highly commended award from the 'Best IER Retailer' category this April, having been nominated by others within the industry.
Abbey Appliances has been established in Evesham since 1997.
They now boast a two-floor showroom off Evesham High Street and not only sell appliances but also repair them, supply spares and accessories and complete electrical work.
Lyn Knight, managing director, said: “It came as a massive shock! I think it's always been our knowledge of the trade, our love for our customers and our willingness to help which sets us apart and I am extremely proud to have been presented with an award that recognises the hard work and dedication both myself and the team have put in over the years.”
