GARDENS in a village will open this weekend.

Pebworth will have 14 gardens open on Sunday and Monday from 1pm until 6pm.

Admission costs £7 to access all the gardens, with children going free.

Home-made teas are available at Pebworth Village Hall during the celebration supported by the National Garden Scheme.

Over the past 21 years, Pebworth has opened selected gardens for the palliative care beneficiaries of the National Garden Scheme Open Days.

For the second year running, Pebworth has won the Heart of England in bloom, winning Gold and Category Winner for Best Village 2017, and also awarded Silver Gilt in the National Finals of RHS Britain in Bloom 2017.

Gardens open include maple barn garden, home to hens Marilyn, Ruby and Gladys Emanuel, and owner Wendi Bowron Weller’s Nature-inspired textile studio.

There will be a blue-hued Primrose Hill garden and the dappled lawns and deep borders of Meon Cottage will also be open.
