A MAN has been charged with GBH after an assault outside a bar in Evesham.
Billy Stokes, 20 of Ivy Court, Evesham has been charged after Alex Gretton, 29, suffered a bleed on the brain during a night out with friends.
Mr Gretton was attacked near to The Outside Inn and could not remember what happened when he woke up the next morning.
As well as a bleed on the brain, Mr Gretton also suffered two other head injuries.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said they were called to reports of a man being unconscious at 12.30am on Sunday May 20.
He became conscious whilst the ambulance service were there and he was treated for head injuries.
Stokes will appear in Worcester Magistrates Court on Thursday June 21.
