Evesham Utd 1, Dunstable Tn 0
STEVE Lutz bagged his eighth goal of the season and his fourth in as many games as the Robins won for a third successive outing.
Lutz's determination won him the ball after James Knott's 16th minute shot had been parried and the captain was first to react and slide the ball into the net.
Troubled Dunstable, whose two nominated substitutes failed to appear on the bench, didn't cause the hosts too many problems and Nathan Vaughan boasted a third clean sheet on the trot.
Lutz, Danny Scheppel and Gary Hay all went close to extending Evesham's advantage while Vaughan produced just two saves of note one to keep out Aaron Flood's free-kick and another when Chris Marsh fired on target after being allowed access into the penalty area.
Vaughan didn't have a save to make in the second period when his opposite number wasn't unduly troubled.
Paul West used all three substitutes - Daniel Lennon, Mark Owen and Tom Warmer - but they didn't improve United's display and it was defenders Michael Hayden and Steve Luckett who gave Paul Taylor in the Dunstable goal his most anxious moments on an afternoon when one goal was enough to earn the hosts maximum points.
