EVESHAM residents will get the chance to pick up a new skills and help mark a national campaign this month.
Evesham Library is celebrating the Family Learning Festival (FLF) by holding various events aimed at people of all ages.
The first event is being held at the library, on Oat Street, on Saturday, October 18 when there will be a chance for families to learn how to become a master at the card game Bridge with members of the Evesham Bridge Club from 10am until 4pm.
On Tuesday, October 28 youngsters aged from 13 to 19-year-olds will have the opportunity to learn how to get the most out of their digital camera with Chris Warren from Chris Warren Photography.
Mr Warren will be holding a course on digital photography from 6pm until 7.30pm. People are advised to take along their own camera to the event.
The Family Learning Festival, which runs from October 1 to 31, and is organised by the Campaign for Learning, is an awareness campaign that aims to highlight the ways families can support each other’s learning.
