EVESHAM’S Miss England hopeful is calling on the whole town to get behind her in a push to make the final of the competition in July.
Jodie Millward, 18, has just completed her recruit training with the RAF at Halton to be an aircraft maintenance mechanic, and would love to prove that even a grease monkey can become a beauty queen.
She said: “The Miss England contest will be an enormous test of my professional abilities and personal qualities, so the nine weeks of training I have just completed at Recruit Training Squadron will help immensely.”
Each contestant for this year’s competition has a photo on the Miss England website, and the person with the most votes goes straight into the final.
Voting begins for one week on Monday, June 1.
