A BUDDING author from Evesham is celebrating after her very first book was published online.
Susan C Groome of St Luke’s Close has had her novel, Love’s Enduring Circle, published by Seashell Books on their website.
The love story follows two souls who struggle through three lifetimes to be together, only to be thwarted by one woman who believes she alone has the right to a man’s heart.
Susan said the book, which starts in China and ends in North America a century later, was inspired by Chinese culture.
“Having lived in Hong Kong as a child, I’m fascinated by China’s culture and history,” she said.
“The smells of the river markets and the bright reds and golds used in the dragon dances are still as vivid as ever.
“Like any writer I use a lot of my own experiences in my writing but I don’t believe in spilling your guts and making people feel miserable. Stories need to be thought-provoking, interesting and ultimately uplifting.
“I’m very excited to see my first book in print. I hope people will enjoy the story, with all its twists and turns and finish it feeling a little more optimistic about life.”
The mother-of-three is now working on her second book, Gabriel’s Light, and hopes to have her first novel printed in paperback.
Love’s Enduring Circle can be downloaded now at a price of $7 from theseashellbooks.com
