CARDS For Good Causes, a charity Christmas Card shop based at Evesham library, celebrated 50 years of giving at the weekend. The charity gives a minimum of 75p in every pound to one of 50 charities on its roster, called the 1959 Group. Manager Kathy Lavery said: “The people of Evesham have been amazing. Despite the difficult financial climate the amount raised is so far considerably more than last year.”
