A guide to help people choose the perfect wine to go with their game dinners has been launched.
The British Association for Shooting and Conservation has selected the best wines to accompany game including pheasant, woodcock, venison, grouse, partridge and rabbit.
BASC spokesman Simon Hamlyn said: “This is the first time that a guide of this type has been produced and is another good example of how the BASC’s Game’s On campaign is working to help people enjoy game as a regular part of a healthy diet.
The guide is available to download from gameson.org.uk.
