Chance to be pampered for a good cause

A LADIES’ pampering and shopping evening will take place at Pershore’s Number 8 to raise money for a local charity.

The event on February 19 will raise funds for the British Lung Foundation through The Robert Welch Breath of Life Fund.

Pershore resident Sarah Phelps set up the fund in 2007 in memory of her late father, who suffered from asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder (COPD).

She has raised £5,000 to date towards research into finding a cure for the debilitating diseases and to support Breathe Easy groups.

The event will consist of displays and advice from a specialist dress designer, ladies’ shoes and handbags, lingerie, traditional Indian crafts, health and beauty advice and a craft stall.

It starts at 7.30pm and admission is £1.50 which includes a raffle ticket.
