Man found dead in riverside park
EVESHAM’S Abbey Park was closed this morning after a man’s body was found there.
The discovery was made at about 7.30am and the park was closed off by police while an investigation was launched. The park was reopened at about 10.30am.
Police confirmed they are looking into the death but have so far released no more details.
The ambulance service confirmed that an ambulance and paramedics were dispatched to the park at 7.35am and a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
But members of the public have indicated that the man was found hanging at the children’s playground in the riverside park.
