THE wife of a Broadway pensioner who died after he penned a book about his life with ME is giving copies of his autobiography away for free.
Clifette Jones said her late husband, Barry Jones, wrote The Cocky Potter and ME after suffering for 50 years with the disease.
Mrs Jones, who lives in The Court, said: “He contracted ME in 1955 but after he wrote the book he never had another attack.
“The first 1,000 books sold well but then Barry ordered more and now they are left here.”
Anyone who would like a free copy of the book should call Mrs Jones on 01386 859383.
