We got on like a house on fire

CHILDREN from a Vale primary school were paid a special visit by Evesham firefighters.

Pupils in Class 1 at Elmley Castle First School were visited by the crew and their fire engine as part of their project ‘People who help us’. The children learnt about the equipment and apparatus used by the firefighters before taking turns to sit in the engine and use the walkietalkies.

Teacher Sally Roberts said: “They absolutely loved it.”
