OFFENHAM villagers can take a closer look at plans for about 30 homes and a public open space today.
The proposals to redevelop land adjacent to Main Street and opposite the post office, can be viewed at a exhibition at the village hall from 3.30pm until 7.30pm. David Wilson Homes is holding the event to gain feedback from villagers.
A planning application has not yet been submitted and the proposals remain preliminary.
The plans reveal the site could accommodate about 30 new homes, comprising two to four-bedroom houses and bungalows, including new affordable housing.
Jon Rowson, planning manager at David Wilson Homes Mercia, said: “This event is an opportunity for the community to provide us with their feedback and comments, which will be fully considered and, where possible, incorporated into the plans as they are developed further.
“Local feedback is extremely important – residents unable to attend can also view and comment on the preliminary plans via the project’s dedicated website.”
