FOOD issues were on the menu when sixth-formers from Evesham High School attended a global student forum in London.

Ten youngsters went to the event at Westminster on June 26 to find out about the impacts of hunger and malnutrition.

They were joined by more than 500 sixth-formers from more than 50 schools to talk to politicians and campaigners about ways to bring about change.

Head boy Reuben Grace said: “Access to food is scandalously unequal. It really made me think about how much we just take for granted the fact that there will be food on the table when so many people do not know where their next meal will be coming from.”
