A CELEBRITY chef brought his culinary skills to the Vale to create a slap-up family feast in celebration of the Olympics. Orchard Vale and Spring Vale Children’s Centre, in Bridge Street, Evesham, was picked by Love British Food to host the event as part of the London 2012 Festival. About 50 families worked with chef Alan Coxon to prepare, cook and serve a meal which included lavender lemonade, roast turkey terrine with summer vegetables and a baked New York cheesecake. Evesham Mayor Robert Raphael and his mayoress Diana went along to the event along with health professionals who offered families advice on how to lead a healthy lifestyle. Pictured, from left, are Wyatt Caulfield, Samantha Edwards, Dan Toccini, Danielle Print and Tyler Sabin with a baked New York cheesecake.
