EXPECT some wild goings-on at the city’s Guildhall tomorrow when it hosts a special event focusing on the county’s wildlife.

Worcestershire Wildlife Trust is hosting its annual roadshow between 10am-4pm tomorrow and is promising a wide variety of attractions based around the area’s many animal species.

A new attraction at the free event this year will be a ‘connections’ table that will feature a number of different wildlife-related objects and encourage people to think about their connections to our own world.

Anne Williams, the trust’s membership development officer, said: “We had such great feedback when we visited the Guildhall last year that we’ve really been looking forward to returning.

“While the Olympics may have inspired everyone to get out and get active, we’ve been thinking about the sports stars of the animal world and we’ve got a quiz to pose questions for families about what are the fastest runners and highest jumpers of our wildlife.”

There will also be experts on hand to answer questions and plenty of information about the trust’s nature reserves, education programmes and volunteering opportunities.
