WORCESTERSHIRE County Museum will be taking visitors back in time to find out about rocks, fossils and dinosaurs.

On August Bank Holiday Monday the museum, at Hartlebury, near Worcester, is holding a ‘Let’s Rock’ family fun day offering a host of prehistoric activities.

Children can make collages, masks and even their own dinosaur badges, or handle the bones and teeth of a real woolly mammoth.

Experts from the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Earth Heritage Trust will be answering questions.

There will also be four days of dinosaur-themed craft activities running between Tuesday-Friday, August 28-31. Admission costs £5 (children £2.50, families £13).
